Sail Training and Youth

Sail Training – is it in your Future?
Have you considered the possibilities of sail training? Do you imagine sails billowing under a clear sky, life aboard a fully rigged ship, with you as part of a close-knit crew out on the open seas? If you're looking for adventure travel, then sail training is for you!
  • What is Sail Training?
Sail training is more than learning about riggingnavigating and crewing, it's learning about life.
Sail the familiar waters of home or voyage to ports around the world.
Face different challenges alongside your crewmates.
Discover hidden talents and gain confidence in yourself.
Explore the world and your place in it.

  • What are the Choices?
Sail training programs set out from ports around the world.
Programs use a variety of vessels, from racing yachts to square riggers.
Voyages can be as short as a day or a weekend, or as long as week.
Some programs are much longer, especially during the summer months.

  • What's Available for Me?
There are different things to consider before signing up for sail training, like:
How much sailing experience do you have?
What's your age? (most programs are planned for a specific age group)
Are you looking for academic credit?
       What's your budget?
