Fair Jeanne
Canada
The Fair Jeanne was designed and built as a private yacht in 1982 by the late Captain Thomas G. Fuller, one ofCanada ’s most decorated WWII naval heroes. A quarter-century and more than 100,000 nautical miles later, Fair Jeanne is now a sail training vessel. It is owned and operated by Bytown Brigantine Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to providing sailing adventures to youth through the tradition of teaching the skills required for square-rigged sailing. In 2007, Fair Jeanne will be celebrating her 25th anniversary and plans are underway for a jubilee voyage down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico - her first trip south in six winters.
